What is surrealism-

Surrealism is a culture art movement and is best known for its visual artworks. The aim was to “resolve the contradictory conditions of dream and reality”. Artists used to paint illogical scenes, create strange creatures from everyday objects and develop paintings that allowed unconscious mind to express itself. Surrealist works feature the element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions. 

LOOK 1- STREET STYLE

In this street style, surrealist motifs like ‘eye’ print on the bag and the pants, ‘hand’ shaped accessories have been used. Surrealist print of ‘fingers’ is painted on the shoes. Make up and hair are kept according to the day look with front two bun and open back hair. Make up being subtle with light eye shadow and contouring.

LOOK 2- HIGH FASHION

In this second look there is a simple black gown with surrealistic accessories. Make up was unusual as lips were made half on the face and curved lines on the eyebrows to give the surreal effect.
